How it works
From a pile of CVs to a shortlist, in five steps
Filling a role is a sequence of decisions. Skye Agent puts one on screen at a time and keeps the whole sequence visible, so you can see where you are and what is still to come.
Step
Job details
A job opening is title, description, requirements, location and employment type: full time, part time, contract, casual or temporary. It starts as a draft, and a draft is the only thing you can delete. Once it opens it can be closed, and a closed job can be reopened, but nothing goes back to draft.
Step
Must-haves and questions
Up to twenty screening questions in the order you want them asked, and up to fifteen must-have criteria. A question elicits something to be judged. A must-have is a gate: full working rights in Australia, a current White Card. Both freeze the moment the job opens, because a candidate scored against five questions cannot be compared with one scored against a different four.
Step
CVs
Drop in every CV you received for the role. PDF and DOCX, up to 10 MB each, including scans, which are read directly rather than run through a separate OCR step. Each becomes a candidate with the name, contact details, work history, skills and certifications pulled out. A CV already on this job is recognised before the file even transfers.
Step
Candidates
Tick the ones you want screened, or leave them all unticked to screen everybody who is ready, then choose whether calls start now or at a set time. Candidates are rung one at a time, on weekdays, inside the calling hours your agency sets in your own timezone. Anyone with no usable phone number says so, and the rest are still queued.
How many years have you worked on commercial sites?
About seven years, mostly fit outs and a couple of high rise jobs.
And have you supervised a crew on any of those?
Yes, up to about twelve on the last one.
Short turns, one question at a time, and the candidate can interrupt.
Step
Results
One row per candidate carrying the CV, the latest call and the score. Filter by recommendation, by score, by whether they meet the must-haves, by call outcome. Open a candidate and the transcript sits beside the per question answers, with the rubric under How this was scored. Export what is on screen to CSV or XLSX.
